About this addon
The most accurate weather engine for Microsoft Flight Simulator. With over ten years of experience reproducing real weather on X-Plane with realistic training in mind, we have ported the core of xEnviro over to Microsoft Flight Simulator to get the most precise weather in the most popular simulator.
xEnviro core code is based on two decades of atmospherical study incorporated into an extremely sophisticated mathematical model. xEnviro is the most technologically advanced tool that uses the most progressive technologies. xEnviro features a user-friendly interface with flexible settings for each component. xEnviro is fully ready to use out of the box. xEnviro software is constantly being updated. xEnviro has been designed by aviation professionals for training purposes.

- Real-time meteorological data with a refresh interval from 5 up to 60 minutes
- Historical weather data is available at 30 minutes intervals. (recording started 16/10 2022)
- Atmosphere condition based on dynamic air parcel prediction model used for real aviation research and training.
- Advanced atmosphere topology methods provide accurate cloud thickness and density prediction.
- Atmosphere quality includes humidity, pollution and fine particle amount.
- Actual wind direction and speed for all levels as well as for the temperature, turbulence and wind shear.
- Simulation of in-cloud turbulence.
- Surface crosswind components can be reduced during ground roll for users with no rudder pedals.
- Seasonal data processed by our servers all year round provides real-time snow coverage.
- All the weather and atmosphere-heavy calculations are executed on our servers. Therefore, expect no performance impact on your hardware.
- Feature to look up the current METAR and TAF reports in the Weather Briefing window.

Very disappointed with this add-on. The quality of cloud cover is always weird. In addition, snow is non-existent. Today many airports with snow...nothing in Xenviro
The "quality of cloud cover is always weird" doesn't tell me anything. Snow coverage is being checked now that we have a couple of reports in. If you have trouble with anything, please get in touch with support at xenviro.net

how exactly do you engage xenviro? is it supposed to be running before or after you start a flight? does it need to be on live weather or clear cloud? whats the best setting to run historical weather? no real manual included
hey load clear sky and only xenviro. after you start a flight and xenviro load in start the other programms.

Overall I am happy with the product. However I hoped that phenomenons like sudden hit of a massive turbulence which kicks an a320 like a ping pong ball would not happen with the engine - however it did. And even though I am fine with the product, the price is a little on the high site. For me it's more a "nice to have" than a "must have". Edit: After couple more hours and Update 1.05 I deactivated the add-on. I am really not happy with the results. Here you can see some weather I encountered that just looks off. https://ibb.co/qmVDZ84 https://ibb.co/9w7q9Cf Yes there was also weather that looked better that MSFS Live Weather. However for me personally it is really not worth the money. Overall I really can not recommend the Add-On.

Where their data is good, it’s a good step up from live weather from asobo, much more accurate and even looks a lot better. However if your main flying area, lacks the data points on their side then live weather is just better by some margin, so for the price not having the whole globe covered to a good enough level isn’t acceptable as one could be rolling the dice to if it’ll be any good in their main area of flying. For instance I mainly fly in New Zealand and in the North Island it’s better than live weather by a fair bit but go fly in the South Island and it suddenly live weather was much more accurate. so TLDR if you mostly fly in the major centres in the US or Europe I’d confidently say you get a much better weather experience more times than not but if you mostly fly in smaller countries like NZ, you are rolling the dice which for the price shouldn’t be a thing. One last thing the transitions/loading of weather isn’t as good as the live weather, and can be very noticeable, from my gathering worse for some users than other.

I don't know why so much bad comment below XE2020. Its only a software which ONLY provide data to the sim but not like REX have 4/5 G cloud file in P3D. So why XE2020 will hit fps. The default weather in MSFS have some problem. Like the weather is outdated or it update suddenly in sim may cause fenix AP off. maybe its my network problem because I'm in China. But XE2020 solve the problem to me. and its a good plugin to me. And the other people think the price is to high. I think plz make money harder : )
Ive heard about that AP disconnect on weather updates and etc but for some reason Ive never had that prob Ive seen it update many times during flight and not enough to throw me off course or disconnect AP.

I like this but I am now getting THIS dialog box when I load up: https://gyazo.com/6456179f7b5bbbe3c38e8a1779285ae9
Sorry, but this is unrelated to xEnviro. The bandwidth usage has nothing to do with the injection of the weather and is very low. If you want, you can contact support, but this is not xE related.
Alright. Just an interesting coincidence.
Just too bad your 2.5 starts still stand and give us a bad rep. Or are there other things that you do not like with the addon?
Thank you for amending the stars. Much appreciated!
