@FL2 - Please straighten out version numbers both on this site and in product manifests ("package_version": "1.3",). Shouldn't the 12/29 update be v1.3.1? Any timeline on a finished v2 product? The terminal is done fairly well, but poorly optimized. The rest of the airport doesn't come close to reality (I'm a 70 yr RI resident). If v2 is a ways out, how about a quick patch that has GA parking where it's supposed to be. Note that scheduled commercial traffic is only 50% of operations at KPVD. Google has very high res sat imagery of the GA and formerly mil side of the airport. If needed, I can send you some of it in the format of choice (png, jpg, pdf). The images could help with scaling. Rhode Island airports have been neglected by other developers (except 08R Richmond), so I appreciate the effort and bet that a lot of other people do too. Looking forward to further development.

Im with you. Live and work around this Airport, Cowesett to Hoxsie, I can supply photos as well. Would love to make this and the surrounding areas improved. East Greenwich would be awesome as well.

Hi FL2 - Glad to see you stopped by and thanks for responding. I'll be glad to help. Hopefully Dan and others will as well. There used to be a developer that did Rhode Island airports for other sims, but he passed away. We also need KUUU (Newport State Airport), KOQU (Quonset State Airport), KSFZ (N Central State Airport), and KWST (Westerly State Airport) if you're willing. Satellite imagery used to be restricted (military and research facilities) but that no longer is the case. I should have some time next week so let me know how to contact you.

I’ve had this scenery since it launched, and the updates have been getting better each time. I ended up purchasing it twice, simmarket, and flightsim.to, due to updates via simmarket being slow, and as it’s my local airport (where I also work), I really needed a PVD. It’s been since FS9 that there has been a quality version of tf green. The developer is amazing at communication. I had several email exchanges with them, and they were attentive and quick to respond. Within about a week (maybe less?), of me pointing out the misplaced jetway logos, they updated the scenery to reflect that. Now, the scenery itself, does have some issues. On flightsim.to the dev. Says they are working on a 2.0. AWESOME. The terminal in this version is great. Personally I don’t care for interiors (its nice, but not a requirement), but the exterior of the terminal is great. Only a few gate numbers missing on the terminal. Otherwise great. Lack of parking for GA and cargo is the biggest issue left IMO. There is however a huge performance impact, that I hope 2.0 will address. Also, would love to have proper AI parking codes, so southwest goes to gates 15,17,19, or 21, etc. Overall a welcome addition to my sim, and a recommend for anyone who needs/wants to fly into providence. Based on my experiences with this developer, I expect the coming updates to only make it better!

I really love the scenery, amazing, but it takes a big hit on the FPS. I am seeing a nearly 50% reduction over the horrible stock scenery. In the FBW A320 it is so bad I can not land without major stutters and lag. I have an Nvidia 3070 card which is pretty powerful. Any suggestions?

If you are referring to a lesser interior of the terminal view, absolutely, in my opinion. I personally don't get much out of walking around inside but do love the detail you all put into the ramp and runway areas. Full disclosure, my biggest hit in FPS comes on the FBW A320, which is a beast all on it's own. The TBM 930 see reductions but it is starting at 60 FPS and goes down to mid to high 30's. Nice looking airport, however not up to standards for a payware airport. I am not finding any static aircraft, there is no true GA parking (all is around the terminal), I can find no fuel station, and when I summon a fuel truck none show up! I will adjust this review if a future update brings this up to standard. Added: Just installed 1.3. The only aircraft I see on the entire airport is what appears to be a Caravan in the N Fedex area. Why am I seeing numerous aircraft in screenshots here on TO?

Sorry. Landed there yesterday prior to the Ravens game vs the Pats (Go RAVENS!), but used the RNAV(GPS) Y 23 as I had read about the ILS. Was disappointed at how deserted the airport looked. Only a couple of default support vehicles rolling around. I flew out of KPVD this afternoon on my way back to Maryland. They did a very good job on the facilites. Just need more life for more realism.

Statics should be always optional. Maybe there is an option for that.

So glad to finally see a version of KPVD, my home airport! What made you choose to build this airport? The terminal and textures look great - very nice job! As others have mentioned, ILS approaches seems to not work which is unfortunate. I have noticed a few details that are missing, mostly along Airport Rd. on the north side of the airport where the hangars and FBO buildings are. Just wanted to update my review to say thank you for the updates. I haven't yet tested the ILS fix but look forward to giving it a try. I'm not seeing the Patriots plane in the 1.3 version - is that something that needs to be enabled manually somehow? Overall, still really enjoying this airport. The only thing that is still really lacking to me is GA parking. KPVD is a very active airport for smaller GA aircraft like Cessnas, and as of right now, the only places to park are gates at the terminal. I'd really like to see additional parking near the FBO, flight school, and UPS/FedEx building. I hope to see this in a future build.

Purchased today using paypal - no issues with transaction. Overall it's a decent addition to anyone's East Coast flying. Close to many other payware and freeware airports in the Cape Cod area. The textures are nice. There are a few minor texture issues and other issues that others have described here (ILS etc). I'm emailing you some issues I've found.

Airport looks great. Have to ssecond the fact that the ILS apprch's are broken. And wondering about a ground issue on rwy 23, theres a height difference in the pavement and sends my plane for a ride and even makes it crash. Same thing on taxiway near ramp.
