This is a pretty good rendition of Ontario Airport! I'm a resident of the city who has flown in and out of here many times and also drive by the airport several times a week. The modelling around Terminals 2 and 4 is spot on! The FedEx and UPS ramps and the old terminal area look decent as well. The GA and South Cargo ramps are visually well modelled, but could use more mapping work to add more parking bays beyond the four that already exist in the sim. The areas beyond the immediate airport property are not modelled. With Microsoft's photogrammetry turned on, the region is at least nine years out of date and may not blend well with parts of this scenery. For example, East Airport Drive (the road that runs north of the airport) and the adjacent Union Pacific railroad tracks are flattened to the same elevation, even though in real life they are grade-separated near road intersections. East Jurupa Street does not dip under the bridge on the southeast side of the airport that connects the UPS ramp to the adjacent ground hub, as it would in real life. Finally, the new buildings north of the airport do not yet exist. But those are just my nitpicks! 😜 To be fair to the developer, Microsoft would be responsible for updating the surrounding photogrammetry. On my RTX 3060 and i7-11800H laptop at maximum settings, the performance is comparable to other hand-crafted airports in major metropolitan areas. I did notice that some of the eye candy took a few extra seconds to load when approaching the airport. Runway 8R-26L is currently closed at the time of this writing and is not expected to reopen until mid-November of this year due to rehabilitation. Maybe we can get a small update to reflect this? =P
