Foggia Airport (IATA: FOG, ICAO: LIBF) is a civil airport located about 3 km from the city centre of Foggia.

The airport, named after Gino Lisa, has a heliport, used by the company Alidaunia for flights to the Gargano (Tremiti Islands, Peschici, San Giovanni Rotondo and Vieste) and the mountains of Daunia (Celenza Valfortore) 

The old runway of the airport was 1560 m long and 45 m wide and is defined as category 3-C "instrumental" type, that is, with equipment suitable also for landings in poor visibility conditions. It was made of concrete and asphalt and had a resistance of grade PCN37. The new runway measures 2000 m, of these only 1795 m can be really used for landings, while the new connections for take-off can be exploited (150 m after the head 15 and 96 m after the head 33). Both heads have 3rd level PAPI and the only 33 head has SALS approach light system. It is allowed to fly at night from the head alone 33.

Thanks to track extension works up to 2000 m, the airport has expanded the range of aircraft that can operate on the runway. From 30 September 2022 Foggia airport has returned to have scheduled flights with Milan Malpensa and from 2 December 2022 with Turin operated with two aircraft, a Boeing 737-300 139 seats and a Boeing 737-700W 149 seats Economy of the Greek airline Lumiwings, announced together with those for Verona and Catania in a press conference in May 2022 by the President of the Puglia Region. 

Faithfully reproduced by BarelliMsfsAddon for MSFS, it contains highly detailed models with high resolution textures, updated track, taxiway, apron and stand, personalized and accurate taxiway signage, accurate terrain elevation and track profiles, realistic dynamic lighting, animated flags and windsocks.

INSTALLATION

• Just enter the folder, complete with its contents, in the directory «Community» created by MSFS2020.
• Alternatively, users of specific scenarios and connection programs (e.g. AddonsLinker) can place the folder in the directory commonly used for this purpose.

L'aeroporto di Foggia (IATA: FOG, ICAO: LIBF) è un aeroporto civile situato a circa 3 km dal centro di Foggia.

L'aeroporto, intitolato a Gino Lisa, ha un eliporto, utilizzato dalla compagnia Alidaunia per i voli verso il Gargano (Isole Tremiti, Peschici, San Giovanni Rotondo e Vieste) e le montagne della Daunia (Celenza Valfortore) 

La vecchia pista dell'aeroporto era lunga 1560 m e larga 45 m ed è definita di tipo "strumentale" di categoria 3-C, cioè con attrezzature adatte anche per atterraggi in condizioni di scarsa visibilità. Era fatto di cemento e asfalto e aveva una resistenza di grado PCN37.

La nuova pista misura 2000 m, di questi solo 1795 m può essere realmente utilizzata per atterraggi, mentre i nuovi collegamenti per il decollo possono essere sfruttati (150 m dopo la testa 15 e 96 m dopo la testa 33). Entrambe le teste hanno PAPI di terzo livello e l'unica testa 33 ha sistema di luce di avvicinamento SALS. È permesso volare di notte dalla sola testa 33.

Grazie ai lavori di ampliamento dei binari fino a 2000 m, l'aeroporto ha ampliato la gamma di aeromobili che possono operare sulla pista. Dal 30 settembre 2022 l'aeroporto di Foggia è tornato ad avere voli di linea con Milano Malpensa e dal 2 dicembre 2022 con Torino operati con due aeromobili, un Boeing 737-300 139 posti e un Boeing 737-700W 149 posti Economica della compagnia greca Lumiwings, annunciata insieme a quelle di Verona e Catania in una conferenza stampa del Presidente della Regione Puglia nel maggio 2022. 

INSTALLAZIONE

• Basta inserire la cartella, completa dei suoi contenuti, nella directory "Community" creata da MSFS2020.
• In alternativa, gli utenti di scenari e programmi di connessione specifici (ad es. AddonsLinker) possono posizionare la cartella nella directory comunemente utilizzata per questo scopo.
