About this addon
Emden Airfield (IATA: EME, ICAO: EDWE) is located in the north of Germany not far from the East Frisian Islands.The Airfield is used by a lot of helicopter operators for offshore operations in the north sea. As the WindOffshore sector in the North Sea plays an important role in our future, we have decided to make the Emden airfield as real as possible. The airfield will cover all needs for virtual pilots: From helicopter pilots that can fly workers to the wind parks at sea, privat pilots that can take their plane for a spin for a sightseeing flight above the East Frisian Islands or even Business Flights. About 15 km west of the airfield, directly at the Ems River, is the Winchtower. This tower is used by helicopter crews for winch training, to winch the workers at sea on wind turbines.

Love the Airport. It's my basi in MSFS2024. I'm passing by it nearly every day. Is there a plan to update it for 2024 and adjust the new hangar to the real look of it and the new building, they build next to the airport?

Danke, sehr schoen. I like the level of detail on the airfield and the winch tower. Also, very recognisable landscape, coming from your flat neigbour country (Niederlande). And my Chinook almost fits in the hangar.

Nice one unfortuntely on my system a frame eater....approaching Emden my frames dropped down from 40 to 17-18...i tried it with several aircrafts....
difficult to understand. We have tested the scenery on different systems. Even on a PC with very low components, the framerate was ok. anyway thanks for the feedback. We hope that you can still use the scenery.

Great scenery. But the Runways are reversed. The runway texture-numbers are correct. I hope you can fix it.

I already owned a payware Emden airport from another developer but this is of really high quality. The buildings and (ground) textures are really good and look realistic. The animations on and around the airport are something you dont see often in any airport. Even the ditches look good in this version. Owning a lot of payware airport i can say this is one of the best smaller airports available. Looking forward to anything this developer will bring in the future.
