Beschreibung
This small airports is owned by the nearby mining company and as well used by Mission Aviation Fellowship as a base for their supportive work in the wide area. Flying there with G8 Airvans.
The most remarkable item is the airport terminalbuilding, which is shaped based on Aboriginal culture shapes.
I have ever started to devellop the passenger building, old WW2 traffic tower and watertower, oiltanks and weather station for this airfield for FSX/P3D, but never managed to get it completely done. No headcapacity anymore now to pick it up again.
But mayby someone does.
I do have several FSDS 3.5 model files from buildings and objects,
If somebody wants to pick this airfield up, feel free to ask me for the buildingmodelfiles if you could use them.
I can sent one example FSDS 3.5 file so one can check if it is usable or importable in a different 3d drawing programm.
If you search on Google pictures for "gove airport australia", you get a lot of picture material.
Data Gove Airport
A bit strange to comment your own request, but the request itself could not be edited anymore, as far as I can discover.
Yesterday I flew from and over Gove Airport again and now, actually, it looked a lot better then in my memory I had see before. Even te passerger terminal has someway the basic shapes of the real thing.
In spite of that, some landmarks could be added, like the fueltank, the old WW2 traffictower and the weatherstation on the southwest side of the runway.
Also the passenger lanes are flat in reallife.
