This bush trip follows the New South Wales Coast from Victoria to Queensland

See some of amazing Australian Scenery, and even perform multiple Water Landings!

The Icon A5 always seemed like an underused and underrated aircraft to me, so in this Bush Trip you're in the Icon A5 and will have to land on water at the end of most legs!

NOTE: It takes an extremley long time for the Icon A5 to come to a stop on Water. Just keep at it and make sure you're within the landing area shown in the Navmap (Red Box Area) and it will trigger!

I flew the first leg and am impressed. I grew up in Sydney, and it is very nostalgic. The problem I have is I landed at Batemans Bay as directed and beached the plane. Nothing happened, no recognition of the flight. When I went to fly the second leg, it would not let me. I am sure I landed at the right place. How can I now progress without having to start back at the beginning which I won't do?

This is excellent, though I'd probably edit down some REALLY mundane details about the towns that aren't very exciting - I spend more time reading than looking out the window... Question. All these water landing airports you have in there... Are they present in the base sim or did you add those? I normally delete the bush trips once I complete them (cause I got about 50 of them archived - no need for all them to be active in the sim at the same time)... If those water bases go away, I may need to keep this trip. I always have issues finding seaplane bases and I could use them... But KUDOS for doing a seaplane trip! No one else seems to have done this. Now if we could do a seaplane trip with the Grumman Goose or the Cessna Bird Dog, we'd be in business!

Have just completed leg 1

My home airport is YMRY Moruya & I've spent a lot of air time on this part of the Australian Coast. DazzaJay has done a wonderfull job of documenting POI's.

This is a stunning trip in an equally beautiful aircraft I highly recommend.

What the heck a good bus trip.That's kind of what I had in mind when I implemented the feature for generating easy landing areas in the BushTrip Injector.

I have now flown the first legs and I think it is fantastic.

Sorry but I get confused by these addon Bush Trips. Is there additional scenery or are they just flight plans please? Just that 8.73MB seems a large file for a flight plan?? Cheers Dan

It's primarily a flight plan. However, this one includes custom airports (For water landings)

The main file Size comes from the Images used in both the game menu and the Navlog.

I've compressed mine down to around 8mb. The original uncompressed version was around 200MB.

Yeah, the Seaplane airports are part of the bush trip, as there does not seem to be any at all in game by default. What i could recommend is that, if you wish to add a bunch of them, use LittleNavMap to create a path and a bunch of waypoints, place the waypoints where you want your water airports. Then import to BushTripInjector. Using BushTripInjector, make water airports at those locations, save and put that in your game. You will have a bushtrip that you will probably never do, but at the same time you will get all the Water Airports you created on the world map.

Thanks! it did take me about 5 days from planning to release. (I always do a full test before release of anything i work on) Basic Airport Generation in BTI is amazing, and really gives some much needed love to the only seaplane that comes with the game! Now i just hope Asobo will update the game a little to increase water resistance so the plane actually slows down at a normal rate once it's landed.
