A fictional repaint of Miltech's excellent MV-22B Osprey in the colours of 820 Naval Air Squadron of the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm. The livery is inspired by that worn on the FAA's fleet of AgustaWestland Merlin HM2s, based at RNAS Culdrose in Cornwall but frequently deployed at sea on board Royal Navy vessels to provide submarine hunting, maritime patrol and interdiction, troop carrying, medevac, search and rescue and medium-lift transport duties.

What's very interesting is this nearly became a thing - Bell proposed an AEW variant of the V-22 for the Royal Navy which was turned down in favour of upgrading the limited number of Merlin HM.2s to carry Crowsnest, great livery.

There was also the vague threat of the Royal Navy acquiring the V-22 to fulfil the COD role (in a similar manner to the US Navy CMV-22s - the cargo hold is big enough to carry an F-35 engine) a few years back but like most of the UK's military procurement efforts, that's also fallen by the wayside...

Hey Georide83,
Your Liverys are awesome, did you paint them in Blender on a 3D model?
If yes, how did you open it?
Greetings

Negative sir, I couldn't get this one to appear in Blender so they were painted in GIMP/Paint.net and then checked in MSFS - quite a lengthy process!
