Firstly, great effort with this addon. brings a personal touch to my local airport. I have a question though. For Tower I'm getting Southampton Tower and not Bournemouth 125.605. I don't have that issue with the stock BOH. Not sure if it's your mod or my end. Looking forward to further updates.

I'd hazard a guess that you are using Navigraph. This is a "known" issue . The NaviGraph database was updated some time ago to also include the Southampton tower frequencies as "Apparently" (according to Navigraph) SOU is used as a backup to BOH during busy periods (i've never known this to happen) - apparently MSFS cannot determine which frequency to use as there's no location associated with frequencies. A potential workouround for Navigraph users: Within the sim, select "Options --> General Options --> Experimental", Turn ON the "Package Reorder Tool". In the resulting pop-up window, locate "navigraph-navdata" and the "df-airport-eghh-bournemouth" entries, use the down arrow to increase the number of the "df-airport-eghh-bournemouth" so that its number is GREATER than "navigraph-navdata". Apply and Save. Note that these settings will be reset if you run the "Navigraph Navdata Center".

*** V1.3 -- GSX Profile ***
To get the GSX profile to work.. the profile (eghh-7ckmlz.ini) in df-airport-eghh-bournemouth\scenery\global\scenery should be copied into your GSX profile folder C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS\ - the AFCAD setting in the .ini file does not need changing as it is apparently no longer used (i'll remove it on the next release!). It would also seem that the facility of distributing .ini files within the scenery package is no longer supported - hence the need to manually copy the .ini to your GSX profile folder.

Hi airport scenery is great, however I’ve found that GSX seems to have problems with the scenery and crashes. Anyone else had this problem? Thank you for your hard work.

MSFS CTD every time with v1.3. I have gone back to previous version which works fine.

I had hoped the GSX profile would automagically work.. however, if not, the GSX profile is located in df-airport-eghh-bournemouth\scenery\global\scenery and is named eghh-7ckmlz. You may need to modify the afcad_path in the profile to point to your MSFS community folder.

Hi,

Thank you for all your great work. I like it a lot.

But there is one thing that you are doing which makes it difficult for me, and dare I say, others, as well.

It' you archive naming convention.

I'm sure that on your own PC, V1.2.0 followed by V1.2.1 makes a lot of sense, but to us poooor downloaders, it's all but meaningless.

Once we've downloaded it, we have to open up the aechive to see what it is.

The standard, when it is used, appears to be some sort of name (for the addon, followd by the version, with the hash characters after it.

I know. I could open the archive and then go down one level, where I'd find a name thaI can recognize, but to me, and I hope, you, it's a lot easier if the contents of each archive is avilable at the top level, without having to dive down into the archive to identify it.

I know, I'm being picky, but unless somebody points out things like this, they can continue to be a source of problems for everyone else.

Finally, consider the problem if a number of developers took up this naming conventions. We could end up with a dozen files called V1.2.1 with different hash characters, with no easy way to differentiate between them, and no way of knowing which particular V1.7.1 had been superceded by that lone V1.7.2.
