Tohoku Air Service is an operator based in north-eastern Japan and main mission is to support Tohoku Electric Power Company.
The bird on the side of the fuselage is the hummingbird, which is the company logo.
The hummingbird has excellent flight capabilities, such as the ability to remain stationary in the air and move back and forward freely.
This ability is similar to a helicopter, so it became the company logo.
JA161T in real is equipped with a camera system, loudspeakers and snowshoes (winter only)
