Recently I made a request for a Bering Air livery. And SmearyGrain made a nice livery for that request.
But then I decided to make my own version of a different color scheme for Bering Air. And also with the real tail number that I saw in the photographs. I picked the colors from the photo, but if you know the exact color, please let me know. You can find the flight history of this aircraft here. At the moment you will not find all the airfields from history in the simulator, but there are two good paid scenarios, Nome (home of Bering Air) and Unalakleet are made by RealWorldScenery.

"Bering Air is an American airline headquartered in Nome, Alaska, USA. It operates domestic scheduled passenger and charter airline services, as well as air ambulance and helicopter services. Its main base is Nome Airport, with hubs at Ralph Wien Memorial Airport (Kotzebue) and Unalakleet Airport." (Wikipedia)

Nome is also best known for the Discovery Channel documentary series Bering Sea Gold.

This is my first livery. There may be some shortcomings. If you see them please let me know and I'll try to fix it. The texture is made in 4K. I have a 2K monitor, so maybe some inaccuracies will be noticeable at a higher resolution.

A modified standard tail number is disabled as it spoils the model's identity. If you see it, then you need to disable it in the ATC settings of aircraft.

There is no tail number on the dashboard, which of course needs to be corrected. I don't know how to solve this issue yet, but I plan to fix it in the future.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I studied the photos more closely and found many flaws in the first version.

Here is the list of changes:

- redrawn stripes along the sides

- fixed stripes on wing tips;

- the paint has been removed in those places where it should not be (antennas, door handles, locks, etc.);

- the slope of the logo and tail number on the left side has been fixed;

- fixed a bug related to update 1.11.6.0 - the plane or sim did not load, which led to freezing - the reason was in the disabled side number;

- added a serial number to the aircraft identification plate (I'm not sure about the rest of the numbers, I took them from the plate of another 208B).

I would also like to add a number to the panel, make glass tinted, and work on the interior. I have no idea how to do all these things yet) So ... stay tuned)

In the meantime, on the way 208 from another airline in Alaska.

Happy flights with Bering Air! :-)

I changed the name of the folder, so remove the old version and then install the new one.

It is installed simply: Unzip the archive and drop the content into the community folder.
