Update 7/1 - Flightbeam/iBlueYonder has released an update that officially supports toggling of static aircraft! If you disable statics, you can remove my file from the Community folder. It's been a pleasure serving you prior to the officially supported fix.
Flightbeam's KPDX product includes statics that are not possible to remove by default, which clash with AI traffic models and remove available parking space for users. This mod contains only exclusion polygons and adding parking spots to remove the static aircraft and static jetways bound to the parking spots that were occupied by the AI.
Removed static aircraft and jetways from gates A (all), B1, C6, C7, C8, C12, C15, C16, D14. Added parking spots and jetways for all except A concourse, as these no longer exist.
You must have the Flightbeam KPDX product in order for this addon to work properly.
Note for SU10 Users
Due to the change in behavior of Content.xml for SU10, you may need to create a Content.xml file or add to it.

Just installed this with SU12 and it worked perfectly. All I had to do was put the folder in my community folder. No need for a content.xml change with the new SU12 package manager. By default the marketplace KPDX scenery has priority -100 and this winds up with priority 0 so it loads after the marketplace scenery.

Thank you so much for this! I was contacting the developer several times over the last year or so asking about removing statics or improving the surround scenery and I would get nothing.

Just checking - have you also added the Content.xml file and the contents to it, such that the FlightBeam airport has a higher priority than the excludes-statics file? If not, see the "Note for SU10 users" in the listing's description.
Sometimes, it takes two restarts for it to fully load properly as well because of scenery caching and such

i believe this i causing FSLTL aircraft to disappear after landing. im still testing at KPDX now and seeing aircraft disappear after landing on runway. nothing makes it to the gates

Hmm, can you see if this behavior happens with just the Flightbeam KPDX, and without this mod enabled?
Typically planes disappear if there’s one or more taxi links broken. I don’t know if the taxi routes are broken based on Flightbeam airport, or if my addition of exclusion layers breaks taxi links

Yep, dropping it in the community folder should work. It might require restarting MSFS a couple of times to refresh the scenery cache too

Thank you for this. I've emailed FB on this issue several times to no avail. I don't understand why developers don't give a non-AI version, considering that the majority of simmers today use some sort of AI and not statics.
