This folder contains a repaint for the North American P-51D by Aeroplane Heaven. I've depicted P-51D-5 #44-13926 E2-S of the 375th FS, 361st FG, as it was flown by Lt. Urban Drew during the photosession flight on 26 July 1944, that became known as the "Bottisham Four". This aircraft was destroyed in a crash 2 weeks later, killing its pilot, Lt. Dellinger. Lt Drew finished his tour with the 361st and later flew Thunderbolts in the Pacific. More on the Bottisham Four flight here: https://www.thisdayinaviation.com/tag/the-bottisham-four/. Repaint by JanKees Blom, based on the original textures by Aeroplane Heaven.
